The Super Bright Red 5 mm LED delivers a crisp, narrow beam of bright red light. With a 640 nm wavelength, 1.8–2.2 V forward voltage, and about 20 mA current draw, it produces around 1500 mcd brightness. Compact and clear-cased, this LED is ideal for status indicators, DIY electronics, and hobby projects needing reliable illumination.
These are very bright LEDs. They are so bright that it hurts to look directly at them. The lens is clear, but this model is red.
