The PiShop Aluminum Kit pairs the powerful Raspberry Pi 5 (4GB) with our Premium Metal Case, which doubles as a built-in heat sink. The aluminum housing pulls heat away from the board and keeps the Pi 5 cool without a fan, so it runs silently. The case also looks good sitting on a desk, shelf, or TV stand.
The Raspberry Pi 5 is the fastest Raspberry Pi yet, with a quad-core 2.4 GHz Arm Cortex-A76 CPU and a VideoCore VII GPU that can drive dual 4Kp60 displays. The 4GB model is the sweet spot for most people. It has enough memory for a smooth desktop experience with multiple browser tabs, and it handles media centers, retro gaming, home automation hubs, and general maker projects.
The kit also includes a 27W USB-C PD power supply, an A1 64GB SanDisk microSD card pre-loaded with Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit), a card reader, and a micro-HDMI cable. Plug it into a monitor or TV, add a keyboard and mouse, and you're ready to go.
